About The Author

Adrian Nelson

Adrian Nelson is a fifty-five-year-old Jamaican male who grew up from humble beginnings, before finally moving to the United States. He is currently a contented single dad, a resident of Connecticut and a hardworking, successful Federal Employee, but his career back in Jamaica was as a Journalist and Reporter, which spanned over twenty-one years.

He had a passion for dance and music why he formed the Street Boys; a break dance group that won and broke all records in the 80’s. He is also a part time DJ, who has played and performed at countless parties, and over two hundred weddings. But writing has always been his gift, his passion, his talent, his mission, his message.

He wrote and produced three mega staged drama productions in Jamaica; Moon River, Dream Merchant, and House Arrest, between 2008 and 2011.

His retirement plan in twelve years was to be a novelist, but he says against all odds, he got a calling one night in a dream that led him to write this novel; Church Boy Love, as there is a message, in fact, so many, that the voice told him could not wait all of twelve years to be told. This is his story, based on actual events.
